Rescue. Rehabilitate. Rehome. Sanctuary.

We are a Full Circle of Life Shelter.

Rescue equines in dangerous and/or unhealthy situations, and those at risk of entering the slaughter pipeline. This includes equines for sale at auctions, owner surrendered equines, law enforcement intercepted, and stray/abandoned equines.

Rehabilitate all equines in our care to recover health and quality of life under direction of licensed veterinarians. Provide humane ‘end of life’ transition as needed to eliminate prolonged suffering. We will never let any equine suffer unnecessarily. 

Rehome equines once they have fully recovered and have been cleared for adoption. 

Sanctuary for equines with chronic or critical conditions. We provide a safe refuge for them to live out the rest of their lives with proper care.

2. Freedom From Discomfort.....by providing an appropriate environment including shelter and a comfortable resting area.

3. Freedom From Pain, Injury or Disease.....by prevention or rapid diagnosis and treatment.

4. Freedom To Express Normal Behavior.....by providing sufficient space, proper facilities and company of the animal’s own kind.

5. Freedom From Fear and Distress.....by ensuring conditions and treatment which avoid mental suffering.

The Five Freedoms are globally recognized as the gold standard and have been the basis of animal welfare since the 1960s.
